If you’ve been using the Give as you Live Online Donation Reminder you may have noticed that you don’t see the pop-up on a small number of stores. This might be because the retailer doesn’t allow our pop-up to be active, but you can still raise free donations for your charity!

Why can’t I see the Donation Reminder pop-up?

The Donation Reminder is a fantastic tool to ensure you never miss an opportunity to raise a free donation for your charity with Give as you Live Online. However, a small number of retailers have rules that mean the Donation Reminder pop-ups are not allowed to notify you of the opportunity to raise. If you visit a retailer that doesn’t allow the pop-up, the good news is that you CAN still raise a donation on your purchase.

How can I still raise a donation?

If you visit a retailer and don’t see a pop-up from your Donation Reminder, follow these steps:

1. Click the heart icon on your toolbar to open the Donation Reminder
2. You’ll see the retailer displayed along with their donation rates. Click ‘Turn on Give as you Live’
3. That’s it! Your visit is now tracked, and a donation will be added to your account within 7 days if you complete a qualifying purchase

Which retailers don’t allow the Donation Reminder pop-up?

Fortunately, there are only a small number of retailers who don’t allow the Give as you Live Online Donation Reminder pop-ups to be active. These include eBay, Booking.com, Waitrose, TK Maxx and ASOS – but you can still raise a free donation for your charity by following the steps above.
